Wierd Question

Fri Jul 20, 2007, 6:22 AM
I have a question*

If a person is insane/delusional, as in they believe that say Pat Sajack (Sp?) is their grandpa or fairys, is happy and is clearly happy to all other people, is it ethical to drug t hem up in a way that with time would regain the TYPICAL state of mind, but would cause semi pain to the person until they are NORMAL. Another option is that they perform a surgery(sp?) that has a risk of death or coma, is it Moral/Ethical/Sacrificing Happiness to be able to see Them in a NORMAL state.

Note: The Person can not speak for themselves
Double Note: You have no idea what they are thinking/realizing or their life is like in the insane or delusion, but you know they are happy...not extremely so more like medium so Joyfull with some cases of euphoria/bad days.
